Store ranks of a demo game

Pebblewick, the fictional demo game, appears on Top Sellers in 34 of 42 countries checked, best #296 · NO. In United States it is #552, 86 places up. In China it is #784, 111 places down. In Germany it is #602, 29 places down.

What you see

• Visible to: the share of your buyers who live in countries where the game is listed.
• For each main list, the number of countries that list the game and its best rank, plus the best rank on any list.
• Lists by country: a world map of where the game is listed, with a second layer for where buyers are.
• Listed countries, and a rank strip for the last 14 days showing listed, not listed and not checked.
• Outside New Releases: the day the game left the list.
• Before launch, Top Wishlisted and Popular Upcoming, and the map shows wishlists by country.

Which lists are checked

• The store home page tabs.
• New Releases, for as long as a new game can appear there.
• Top Sellers, overall and for the tags that describe your game in Steam's main markets.
• Before launch: Popular Upcoming and Top Wishlisted.

Ranks are tracked per country, so you see what a shopper in each market actually sees: the rank in Germany can differ from the rank in the United States.

Where the numbers come from

Ranks come from the public Steam store. They refresh daily on Indie, Studio, and Publisher. Within 14 days of launch, Studio checks every 6 h.

What it does not do

• Ranks show what a typical shopper in each country sees. A signed-in visitor's own store page is personalized and can look different.
• It covers the lists above, not every page of the store.
• It does not buy, request or change any placement.

Store lists are checked in 16 countries on Indie and 42 on Studio and Publisher. Radar has no scheduled refresh.
