1. About these terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between SteamStats (steamstats.io, "we", "us") and the organization that uses the Service ("you"). The Service means the SteamStats website, app, browser extension and emails.
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms on behalf of your organization. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
2. The Service
SteamStats is an analytics dashboard for games sold on Steam. It shows data about the games you add, public Steam data about comparable games, forecasts and alerts. We may change, add or remove features at any time.
Forecasts, estimates and alerts are for information only. They can be wrong and are not financial, legal or tax advice. The decisions you make with them, and their results, are yours.
3. Your account
- The Service is for business use. Every seat belongs to one person in your organization.
- Keep your sign-in email and devices secure. You are responsible for all activity in your organization and for your team's use of the Service.
- Tell us at support@steamstats.io if you think someone has accessed your organization without permission.
4. Your Steam account, keys and data
- You are responsible for your Steam account and for the keys you add. You confirm that you have the right to connect each game, and that doing so complies with your agreements with Valve.
- You are responsible for the data you enter and for how you use the Service and its results.
- Keys are stored encrypted and are never shown again after you save them. You can remove a key in the app, or revoke it in Steamworks, at any time.
- The browser extension is optional, and you can remove it at any time.
5. Plans, billing and refunds
Plans are priced per tracked game: Radar is free for one game, Indie is $29.00 per game a month, Studio is $79.00 per game a month, and Publisher is a custom per-game quote. During the invite-only beta, invited organizations get Studio free until the date in Settings › Billing, then move to Radar unless they subscribe.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle charges your payment method, collects taxes, issues invoices and handles refunds under its buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). We never see your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings › Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We tell account owners by email before a price change, and a new price applies from the next billing period.
6. Ownership and aggregate data
You own the data you bring to the Service. You let us store and process it to run the Service for you. We own the Service, its software, its models and its designs.
You grant SteamStats a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive and transferable license to create de-identified, aggregated data from your data and your use of the Service, and to use it for any lawful purpose, including improving forecasts, building benchmarks and creating new products. This license survives the termination of these Terms and the deletion of your account.
Aggregate data never contains studio, company or game names, Steam app IDs, keys or email addresses. We do not try to re-identify it, and we never sell your data or show it to other customers in a form that identifies you.
7. Acceptable use
You will not, and will not help anyone else to:
- copy the Service, or reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract its source code, models or private interfaces;
- scrape the Service or extract its data by automated means;
- use the Service or its results to build or train a product that competes with SteamStats;
- publish benchmark or accuracy tests of the Service without our written consent;
- resell the Service, or share accounts or sign-in links with people outside your organization;
- work around plan limits, or put an unreasonable load on the Service or on Steam;
- access another customer's data, or test the security of the Service without our permission (good-faith reports to support@steamstats.io are welcome).
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, limit or close your account at any time, for example after a breach of these Terms, a security risk or an unpaid invoice. Where it is practical, we will tell you why.
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account or organization, write to support@steamstats.io.
9. Valve and Steam
SteamStats is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Steam and Steamworks are trademarks of Valve Corporation. The Service depends on data that Valve provides. Valve may change or stop that data at any time, and we are not responsible for Steam outages or for the accuracy of Steam data.
10. No warranty
The Service and its results are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any forecast will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. On a free plan, that amount is zero.
- These limits apply to the maximum extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For a material change, we tell account owners by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the provider of SteamStats is established, and its courts decide any dispute. The mandatory consumer protections of your country still apply. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
